FAQs About Stratus Vineyard Weddings
Q: How many guests can the Stratus Vineyard accommodate?
A: October to March, the maximum capacity is 50 for a seated dinner in the Tasting Room. Due to the exclusivity and narrowness of the space, room for dancing may be limited. During April, May, June and September, the max capacity is 120 for a seated dinner in the Press Alley.
Q: What floor plan options can we choose for our reception in The Press Alley?
A: To maximize the guest count in The Press Alley, it can hold two long tables that are 30” wide, seating up to 120. Should you prefer extra-wide tables at 40”, a single long table can be accommodated, seating a maximum of 72 guests.
Q: Are there spaces for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
A: The most typical is a ceremony outside on the lower terrace, followed by a dinner in the Press Alley. For rain back-ups, the Tasting Room can host up to 60 guests, and the Press Alley can host over 60. If the Press Alley were hosting both the ceremony back-up and reception, the room would be flipped from ceremony to dinner, and we would suggest a slightly longer cocktail hour of 1.5 hrs.
Q: What is included in the wedding package at Stratus Vineyard?
Exclusive access to all Stratus hospitality spaces from 6.30p - 1a, premium crystal stemware for all beverage service, bar-height cocktail tables, Teknion Tasting Room bridal suite with a full-length mirror, personalized dinner menus, and a complimentary wine tasting for the couple. For groups under 50, tables, chairs, and black linens are available.
Q: What time can my event start?
A: Doors will open for guests at 6.30p, allowing time to transition from business hours. Guests are greeted with a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and escorted smoothly through to take their seats for the ceremony.
Q: What time does my event end?
A: Event end is 1a.
Q: What does setup timing look like?
A: For the Press Alley, load-in time for vendors is typically 3.30p. For the Tasting Room and Terrace, access is 5.30p, once Stratus is closed to the public for the day.
Q: Can we take photos on site before the ceremony?
A: Couples are permitted on the property as of 5.30p.
Q: Are there bar packages?
A: All beverages are charged based on consumption. For wine, the price per guest will average from $55 to $65. Wines served are exclusively Stratus throughout the evening. Local beers and spirits will be offered (post-dinner consumption only).
Q: How does the catering work?
A: Stratus partners with local caterers who share common core values of sustainability and seasonal ingredients, showcasing the local region.
