We’ve had the pleasure of planning and designing many weddings at Elora Mill Hotel & Spa, a stunning destination wedding venue in Elora, Ontario, just 1.5 hours from Toronto. The Elora Mill Grand Room can seat up to 200 guests, and The Irvine Room, up to 90. Both event spaces feature fireplaces and large windows overlooking the historic streets of Elora, as well as gorgeous chandeliers, whitewash harvest tables, and lace ivory charger plates, all included in the package.

Q: How many guests can the Elora Mill accommodate?
A: The Foundry, Elora Mill’s indoor ceremony space, can accommodate up to 200 guests. For wedding receptions, the Granary Building offers two spaces: The Grand Room on the upper level can host up to 200 guests for a seated dinner with dancing, and the Irvine Room is perfect for more intimate receptions of up to 90 guests.

Q: Are there spaces for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
A: As of 2024, the outdoor ceremony space at Elora Mill closed. The Foundry, Elora Mill’s indoor ceremony space, can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Q: Does Elora Mill have a preferred vendor list?
Yes, Elora Mill has a preferred vendor list; however, you are able to use vendors outside of the list for everything except food and beverage. One note is that outside DJs and A/V teams are subject to an additional fee.

Q: What is included in the wedding package at Elora Mill?
A: Light wood harvest tables, wood cane-back Louis chairs with linen seats, charcoal napkins, ivory lace rimmed charger plates, flatware, and crystal stemware. The 60” Round tables with charcoal grey table cloths.

Q: What size are the wood harvest tables at Elora Mill?
A: The harvest tables are 8’ long and 37” wide.

Q: How many people can I seat at the harvest tables for an Elora Mill wedding reception?
A: We suggest a maximum of 8 seats at the wood harvest tables as they are only 37” wide. By the time centrepieces and candles are added to the tables, it is very tight to fit 2 seats at the ends.

Q: Do we need a wedding planner for our Elora Mill wedding?
A: The Elora Mill includes an event coordinator who assists with planning details along the way. They also include a Maître D and Concierge to support your wedding day, ensuring the wedding day runs smoothly. Their team is incredibly important to the event’s success. We also encourage couples hire an outside wedding planner to help with the pre-wedding planning of all non-venue related details.
